Director of Engineering - Digital Experiences Platform We are seeking a visionary, customer-obsessed leader to manage and grow high-performing teams responsible for scaling our Digital Experiences Platform at Adyen. This platform is the central interface where merchants seamlessly manage their payment, financial, and data workflows in a powerful, cohesive environment. Who You Are Proven Scale Leader: 10+ years of experience in leading engineering organizations through other managers, with a strong track record of scaling autonomous, high-performing teams globally. Platform Expert: Deep expertise in building large-scale distributed systems, passionate about long-term maintainability, and possessing comprehensive full-stack knowledge (Java/similar backend and modern frontend frameworks). Decentralized Governance: Experienced in leading through collaboration and governance in decentralized environments, ensuring a unified, high-quality product outcome without centralized control.
