SPG will also break ground on problem spaces that sit outside the current boundaries of Nu's core businesses. This may occur through inorganic pushes to our business outer boundaries - new business opportunities - revenue streams, cost efficiencies, etc, All in all, SPG will operate in a way in which it creates organizational bandwidth to come up with, analyze, decide and build growth options to accelerate Nu’s business growth. About the role SPG will act as a thought-partner to Nu's Building Blocks, Business Areas and Business Units to make sure we have top-down and bottoms-up alignment. PL performance management geo, segment and product - agnostic Partners' relationship (governance and clear comms lines) risk management (reputational, contractual etc.) Driving business value overseeing a) new revenues streams b) enhance products value prop c) engagement on regulatory landscape and d) access partner's network to empower Nu ecosystem. Force multiplier to endorse execute short-term priorities and actively explore long-term strategy aligned with Nu's 5Y plan SPG will also act as an incubator of new initiatives inside of Nu by owning earlier bets that can create new levers of growth for Nubank, without draining significant resources from Business Areas, until they are ready to graduate into Nu's organization. SPG will represent Nu's global interests in engaging with a select group of strategic partners. What we are looking for: 1-Analytical Skills Use a framework with numbers and data and can come to a conclusion. 2-Strong Financial Skills Financial modeling, PL and financial statement 3- Smart Problem Solver How SPG solves the problems inside the area? Deep Industry know-how paired with intellectual curiosity; Rigorous thinking applied to an ambience open to new ideas; Global optimum, over Local optimum; Down-to-earth, practical and starting from Nu customer's perspective; Combining Macro-optimism (regulatory/market barriers can move) with Micro-pessimism (we are what we execute well, ultimately; documents per se are not going to move Nu forward). 4- Negotiation and Strategic Partnerships (through relationship and network) Developing and cultivating key relationships in markets and segments of interest, including comprehensive and deep sourcing of potential partners and talent. 5-Customer Focus How Corporate Development interacts with the customers? Pull (from the business to the function) They need to be close to Nu's Building Blocks, Business Units and Business Areas. They want to hear them out - especially around their FUDs (fears / uncertainties / doubts - micro-pessimism) and their wild ambitions (long-term potential outlook - macro-optimism); They also want to be close to Nu's leadership - they have always been an exceptional business and should aspire at remaining so, and thus the direction of our business wil ...
