About the Role: The Operations Supervisor, Lot Management serves as the operational authority on the production floor during Mid-Shift operations. This role ensures production continues efficiently and safely when senior leadership presence is reduced. The Supervisor acts as the bridge between Team Leads and the Production Manager, providing an additional layer of oversight and decision-making when issues arise that exceed the scope of a Team Lead. This position is responsible for maintaining operational stability, resolving production issues in real time, and ensuring the shift operates effectively without requiring constant escalation to the Production Manager. What You’ll be Doing Approving operational adjustments required to maintain production flow, including modifying task priorities, adjusting workflows, or reallocating labor to respond to changing operational conditions. Resolving workflow disruptions by identifying operational obstacles, coordinating with Team Leads, and implementing corrective actions to restore production flow and minimize downtime. Making real-time production decisions that support productivity and operational stability when issues arise during the shift. Maintaining continuity of operations by monitoring production progress and ensuring teams remain aligned with shift priorities and performance expectations. Preventing delays caused by waiting for management approval by acting as the on-floor authority for operational decisions, allowing the shift to maintain productivity and stability. Balancing labor across teams when necessary to maintain efficient workflow and ensure critical production areas are properly staffed. Supporting Team Leads when production targets are at risk by providing guidance, adjusting resources, and assisting with operational problem-solving. Reallocating resources to maintain line efficiency, ensuring labor, equipment, and work areas are utilized effectively to support production goals. Ensuring consistent execution across all teams by reinforcing operational standards and maintaining alignment with established processes. Adjusting workflow when production falls behind to recover productivity and keep the shift on schedule. Supporting teams during high-demand periods to help maintain production output and operational stability. Coordinating with maintenance when equipment issues occur to minimize downtime and restore operational capacity. Ensuring quality standards are maintained during Mid-Shift operations by monitoring production processes and reinforcing compliance with quality expectations. The Supervisor also serves as the first escalation point for Team Leads when operational issues extend beyond their scope of authority, including: Production bottlenecks, by identifying causes of slowdowns and coordinating actions to restore production flow.
