What You’ll Be Doing: We are looking for a Credit Specialist II to help us establish the Overpayments vertical of Grow Therapy, and who will work on overpayment validation projects with the RCM Team. You’ll be part of a remote-friendly team of specialists reporting directly to the Insurance Operations Department. Your responsibilities will include: Researching overpayments in instances where payors (e.g., insurance companies or government programs) have paid more than the amount due, and fulfilling refund requests to our payors Initiating and managing refunds once verified, and ensuring the appropriate steps are taken to return funds. Fulfilling overpayment requests based on the contractual timelines outlined by each payor. Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies to ensure all actions follow federal, state, and payer-specific regulations. Maintaining accurate records and keeping detailed documentation for transparency, audits, and process improvement. Role Details: Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt Compensation: The base compensation range for this position is $23.72 - $26.44 USD Hourly The compensation for this role will vary depending on several factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, and the candidate's working location. At least 2 years of experience in Medical Billing or in a Healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of healthcare claims, overpayments, and experience facilitating refunds to both commercial and government payors.
