Software Engineer - Care Quality
Grow TherapyNew York, San Francisco, or SeattlePosted 20 March 2026
Job Description
About Us:
Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.
The Opportunity:
We're hiring a Software Engineer to join our Care Quality team — the engine behind Grow’s data-rich, partner-integrated mental health platform. You’ll work on foundational systems that power our provider workflows and documentation experiences, enabling compliant, measurable, and high-quality care at scale.
You'll join a collaborative, cross-functional team focused on provider documentation, measurement-informed care, and partner-facing integrations. This is a growth-oriented role ideal for engineers early in their careers looking to deepen their full-stack experience in a mission-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Contribute to the development of end-to-end features across the care documentation stack — including notes, invoices, and medical records — using modern full-stack technologies.
Collaborate with product and clinical teams to build scalable workflows that embed compliance, measurement, and quality guardrails into the provider experience.
Participate in service modularization efforts as we decompose the monolith into domain-aligned services.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while contributing to peer reviews and technical design discussions.
Support improvements in platform reliability by adding logging, metrics, and operational checks across care data systems.
You’ll Be a Good Fit If:
You have 1–2 years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer working in a production environment.
You enjoy working in collaborative, cross-functional teams , especially when solving real-world problems in healthcare or compliance-driven industries.
You’re comfortable writing both backend and frontend code, and are excited to learn within a growing, mission-aligned team.
You value clean architecture, structured data models , and building systems with long-term scale in mind.
You’re energized by Grow’s mission to transform mental healthcare through quality, transparency, and accountability.
