Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.About the RolePolymarket is looking for a pragmatic full-stack engineer to join our US Exchange Tooling team. You'll build the critical internal systems that power our CFTC-regulated exchange operations—from payment reconciliation and transaction processing to operational dashboards and compliance tooling.This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with operations teams, build systems that handle real money at scale, and help establish the technical foundation for our growing US exchange business. If you enjoy solving complex problems in fintech, building tools that people actually use every day, and shipping code that matters, this role is for you.What You’ll DoBuild internal tools for US exchange operations. Create systems that help control desk operators, supervisors, and compliance teams manage high-volume payment processing and reconciliation workflows.Ship production features regularly. Launch improvements and fixes frequently in a fast-paced, regulated environment where reliability matters.Work across the full stack. Build frontend interfaces for operational dashboards and backend APIs for transaction processing, reconciliation, and payment provider integrations and other control desk operations.Collaborate with internal teams. Partner closely with operations, compliance, and product to understand workflows, gather feedback, and iterate quickly on tooling.Design for scale and compliance. Build systems that handle thousands of daily transactions while maintaining audit trails and meeting CFTC regulatory requirements.Contribute to technical decisions. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and help establish best practices for the team.What We’re Looking For3-7 years of professional software development experienceStrong full-stack web development skills with TypeScript.
