Coach, mentor and create an environment where your team can do their best work and deliver for the business. Set direction and guide technical strategy, ensuring that your team is delivering long-term value aligned with Vanta’s business prioritiesWork closely with Vanta’s customers and customer-facing teammates to build and ship high-value products and infrastructurePlay an integral role in laying the foundation for Vanta’s engineering cultureHow to be successful in this role:Have 5 or more years of professional experience in a full-time engineering manager role for product engineering teamsExperience leading team sizes of 15-20+ with managers or leads reporting into you Strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and qualityHave participated in developing or driving engineering-wide initiatives (recruiting processes, career frameworks, etc) in a prior roleHave prior experience managing complex, long-term projects that touch multiple teams and cross-functional stakeholdersEffective communicator and story-teller.
