As our Manager, Sales Development, you’ll lead and support a team of highly motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representatives during a period of rapid-growth at Vanta. These SDRs will be focused on supporting Vantas pipeline generation from marketing channels. You’ll be integral in shaping our sales organization as we continue to scale, move up market, and distinguish Vanta as best-in-class to prospects in our rapidly growing category of security automation, with Vanta having created the category of automated compliance.What you’ll do as a Manager, Sales Development, Inbound at Vanta:Oversee the recruitment, mentoring, and development of a team of a SDRs which includes hiring and training new membersIdentify opportunities and develop strategies to improve process, efficiency, and productivity across the SDR organizationBuild and Implement a data driven Inbound strategyFoster an environment of high performance & accountabilityConsistently deliver against sales pipeline and headcount targetsAccurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and qualified opportunity targetsDevelop sales, product and industry skills of each team memberMotivate team members through creative incentivesIdentify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency and ProductivityLead by example and champion our Principles while fostering a collaborative, transparent, inclusive sales environmentHow to be successful in this role:Be located in San Francisco, CA and have the ability to commute to the office in a hybrid setting 3x per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)Have 3-5 years of sales experience, with at least 2+ years of management/leadership experienceOffer experience in B2B SaaS sales and sales managementHave experience prospecting into various market segments and personasHave stellar problem-solving abilities, thrive working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoy the challenge of making a large impact early on in a start-up environmentPossess the technical competency to understand Vanta’s software, the intellectual curiosity to want to learn about the world of governance, risk and compliance, and to build great relationships with highly technical prospects who are willing to rethink the paradigm in how security is achieved, and to enhance and evolve their own security programs1+ years experience building and managing a high performing SDR SaaS sales teamsConsistent track record of 100% team attainment as a front line leaderProven track record of scaling teams & selling complex solutionsProven track record and experience in increasing efficiency and productivity across a growing sales orgDemonstrate leadership skills and ability to coach SDRsWhat you can expect as a Vantan:Industry-competitive compensation100% covered medical, dental, and vision benefits with dependents coverage16 weeks fully-paid parental Leave for all new parentsHealth & wellness and remote workplace stipendsFamily planning benefits through Carrot Fertility401(k) matchingFlexible work hours and locationOpen PTO policy11 paid holidays in the USOffices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, and SydneyTo provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.
