Associate Financial Analyst

With millions of users worldwide and over 500,000 business users, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.You'll work closely with our FP&A team to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting that helps drive key business decisions. This is a hands-on role where you'll build financial models, analyze business performance, partner with teams across the company, and gain exposure to all aspects of running a high-growth tech company.This role is perfect for someone early in their finance career who's eager to learn, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to make a tangible impact at a company that's changing how the world builds software.You will:Support financial planning and budgeting processes, including annual operating plans and quarterly forecastsHelp manage headcount planning and workforce analytics, tracking hiring plans against budget and analyzing department-level staffing trendsAssist with monthly financial close and reporting, delivering insights on revenue, expenses, and key business metrics to leadershipBuild and maintain financial models for budgeting, headcount scenarios, and operational expense analysisPartner with department heads to track spending against budget and identify opportunities for cost optimizationSupport infrastructure and compute spend analysis, working with Engineering to monitor cloud costs and efficiency metricsCollaborate with Sales and Product teams on pricing analysis and deal desk reviews for key customer contractsContribute to board materials and executive presentations, preparing financial summaries and performance dashboardsHelp establish and track financial KPIs and efficiency metrics across the organizationParticipate in scenario planning exercises to model different growth and investment scenariosWork cross-functionally with Operations, GTM, and Technology teams to gather inputs for financial planning cyclesRequired skills and experience:1-3 years of experience in finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical rolesStrong Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience building financial modelsSolid understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and surface actionable insightsClear written and verbal communication skills—you can explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholdersCollaborative approach and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsComfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing prioritiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fieldGenuine interest in technology, AI, and developer toolsPassion for Replit's mission to make programming more accessibleBonus Points: Experience at a tech, SaaS, or AI companyPrior exposure to FP&A or corporate finance functionsFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure or software business modelsBackground in investment banking, consulting, or venture capitalExperience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Pigment, Abacum)Understanding of SaaS metrics and unit economicsCoursework or interest in computer science or AI/ML technologiesThis is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office.
