We are looking for a strategic, motivating sales leader to oversee our Mid-Market B2C Services business in Los Angeles. You will lead a talented group of Client Partners and Account Managers who help advertisers across industries like Tech, Travel, Education, Healthcare, and Finance find their home within Reddit’s 100,000+ active communities. Services businesses range from Fortune 100 brands to hyper-growth disruptors in high-value, high-intent categories who are shaping what’s next. These partners operate with longer sales cycles and higher purchase values, where Reddit’s leaned-in communities provide a unique competitive advantage.
The B2C Services team is a significant revenue driver within our Mid-Market org, but we’re still in early stages of building our advertiser base within the segment. As the leader of this team, you will tap into that potential by driving aggressive new logo acquisition and accelerating time-to-value to ensure retention. You will work with your team to identify repeatable plays that will drive advertiser success at scale as they nurture and grow existing client partnerships. In a world where traditional social feeds are becoming fragmented, you’ll lead the charge in proving why Reddit is the most influential place for Services brands to connect with the internet’s most curious and leaned-in consumers.
Please note that this role is required to work from our Los Angeles office 1-2 days per week.
You’ll be responsible for:
Recruiting, training, and leading a team of top-of-industry Acquisition Client Partners Account Managers, as well as Same-Store Growth Client Partners Account Managers
Building and strategically expanding your team’s business to drive revenue
Lead your team to exceed established revenue targets through net-new business acquisition and growth of existing accounts
Advise sales and product management regarding market opportunities, sales positioning, use of resources, and strategic planning
Partner with Marketing to drive new product launches, marketing communications, and further establish Reddit as a leader amongst challenger brands
Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to develop financial and operating targets, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan
Building and managing senior-level relationships with key clients and agency partners
The right leader will have:
Direct people management experience in media sales
10+ years of experience in media sales
Experience partnering with relevant B2C Services brands across industries like Travel, Healthcare, Education, Tech, or adjacent verticals
Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, high-velocity sales motions to drive aggressive net-new business acquisition
Experience leading and building sales teams at dynamic, industry-leading companies, and motivating those teams by connecting their work to top-line business goals
Track record of building high-performing teams through mentorship and talent development while attracting new talent
Deep functional knowledge and industry expertise
Experience with direct advertiser sales including negotiations and management of strategic partnerships
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven experience upleveling sales partnerships by accessing C-level client stakeholders
Excellent communication skills
Is a truly a scaled business leader, focused on entrepreneurial ways to delight customers at scale
