Job Description
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER, SUPPLY CHAIN RESILIENCE (STARLINK)
One of the most ambitious missions that SpaceX has undertaken to date, Starlink is leveraging our experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy the world's most advanced broadband internet system and largest satellite constellation to provide fast, reliable internet to millions of users worldwide, connect humanity, and fund Mars colonization.
Starlink Business Operations combines traditional planning and analysis with broader business decision-making and strategy, directly supporting SpaceX’s leadership. Business Operations is embedded in daily operations, supporting both near-term execution and long-term planning. Engineer the executive contingency playbook to safeguard operations during supply and geopolitical emergencies
Build first-principles models to identify critical-path choke points and quantify time-to-survive (TTS) and time-to-recover (TTR) metrics for every major assembly
Partner with hardware and manufacturing engineering to support aggressive design-out strategies that eliminate single-source dependencies and expand the global vendor landscape
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, physics, or other quantitative field
