Role Overview Qualys is seeking a Lead Visual Designer with exceptional creative taste and advanced technical execution to elevate our global marketing presence. This is not a production or execution-only role. We are looking for a digital-first design leader who can independently own complex marketing web experiences—from concept through scalable Figma systems—while raising the overall aesthetic bar of the brand. You will play a critical role in shaping how Qualys shows up across web, campaigns, and digital channels, balancing high creativity with structured systems thinking. In this role, you will: Own Marketing Web Design Lead the design of high-impact marketing websites, landing pages, and campaign experiences Translate brand strategy into compelling, conversion-oriented digital experiences Partner directly with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation Build Scalable Figma Systems Create and maintain advanced Figma component libraries (components, variants, auto-layout, design tokens) Think in scalable systems, not one-off pages Ensure consistency across multi-page and multi-campaign initiatives Elevate Creative & Visual Standards Bring refined typography, layout discipline, and visual restraint to all work Develop compelling digital concepts that go beyond templated enterprise UI patterns Push the brand forward with high-quality creative execution Collaborate Cross-Functionally Partner with marketing, product marketing, copy, and web teams Clearly articulate design decisions and defend creative rationale Contribute to creative strategy, not just execution We’re looking for someone who: Has 8–12+ years of professional visual and web design experience Demonstrates exceptional aesthetic judgment and creative range in their portfolio Has led the design of real, multi-page marketing websites (not just mockups or product UI) Is an advanced Figma user with proven systems and component ownership Understands conversion-driven marketing design Has experience collaborating with developers and CMS environments Thinks in design systems and scalable frameworks Is self-directed and capable of owning projects end-to-end Not a good fit if: Portfolio is primarily social posts, brochures, or static assets Experience is primarily enterprise product UI without marketing application Work shows repetitive layouts with limited creative exploration Web examples are limited to thumbnails or PDFs without live experience Portfolio Requirements Please include: Links to live marketing websites or landing pages you have designed Examples of Figma systems or component libraries (screenshots acceptable) Clear description of your personal ownership on each project Join our talent community and receive the latest Qualys news, content, and be first in line for new job opportunities.
