Overview In support of the ongoing operation and evolution of the CDIP platform, Mastercard is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a team of developers, including both internal employees and Statement-of-Work contractors. This leader will oversee the deployment, operation, and continuous enhancement of the platform while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and data governance requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management operations, familiarity with data governance principles, knowledge of data protection best practices, and an awareness of privacy regulations that govern data usage and exposure. Role • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, including internal developers and external SOW contractors, responsible for building, deploying, operating, and enhancing the CDIP platform. • Oversee development and delivery activities to ensure platform enhancements and releases are executed efficiently, reliably, and in alignment with business objectives. • Partner closely with architecture and technical leadership to ensure development teams clearly understand system requirements, technical standards, and design expectations. • Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to ensure all development activities comply with Mastercard policies, security requirements, and engineering standards. • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and blockers, ensuring leadership has clear visibility and teams remain aligned toward delivery goals.
