Title and Summary Vice President, Account Management Overview We are looking for a Vice President, Account Management to lead key accounts in Japan. As a customer account lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and elevating the customer experience strategy, building strong partnerships, and consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, has demonstrated success in managing and growing customer accounts, is entrepreneurial, intellectually curious and highly motivated. Role In this client-facing position, you will: • Be responsible for setting sales strategies as it relates to customer accounts that are aligned with Division strategy and achieving sales goals that drive market share, volume and revenue growth • Lead and manage existing customer relationships, and work to identify opportunities and customer needs • Delight Customers by ensuring high-impact delivery of Mastercard products and services. Partner with customers to deliver customized solutions and comprehensive consulting support • Lead Sales team, set goals, develop account plans, provide coaching and guidance as an inspirational people leader • Be responsible for pipeline management at the account level • As a member of the Japan Leadership Team, the position will collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to bring one-Mastercard to the customers All About You The ideal candidate for this position should: • Have broad experience with sales strategy development and execution in complex accounts • Provide consultative analysis, industry insights, and thought leadership to the customer • Demonstrate transformative people leadership skills • Proficiency in English and Japanese Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
