Our headquarters is in sunny Sydney, Australia, but our team spans the globe. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role, we’re focusing on Bangalore so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

Who are Canva Creators?
Canva Creators are professional graphic designers who publish elements and templates to the marketplace in multiple local languages.
In this role, you’ll design and execute strategies that onboard, inspire, and nurture passionate creator community members—building programs from the ground up while championing Canva’s brand and values.
You’ll combine creativity with data-driven insights to identify opportunities, measure impact, and overcome challenges, turning big ideas into actionable initiatives. As a natural community leader, you’ll thrive in ambiguity, foster meaningful connections, propose a new way of working for designers, build networks with Canva users, and provide them with new opportunities through the Canva community.
Define and execute India Creators community strategy, aligning with product priorities and cultural moments to drive local impact.
Build and manage India Creators community, fostering growth, engagement, and a sense of belonging among contributors.
Identify and nurture creative talent, ensuring creator outputs align with visual trends and Canva’s quality standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with content, marketing, SEO, product and global teams to design and deliver impactful initiatives and campaigns.
Craft clear and inclusive communications that inspire, inform, and engage creators across multiple channels.
Create strong feedback loops, providing structured, actionable feedback to help creators optimize their content and continuously improve over time.
Use data and insights to measure community health, track content performance, and optimize programs for impact.
Act as a relationship-builder, offering empathetic support, detailed guidance, and proactive engagement to strengthen creator trust and retention.
Support collaboration between the creators community and other communities (such as educators and business users), and, when needed, help with communications and event planning for other communities as well.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in community management and program management (or related fields), with a proven track record of building and scaling thriving creative or other communities.
Strong relationship builder, able to develop trust and maintain close ties with creators, communities, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Collaborative operator, experienced in working cross-functionally with content, SEO, marketing and global teams to align on strategy and drive impact.
Adaptable and proactive, skilled at balancing long-term program building with short-term campaign execution in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on with community management platforms (e.g. Discord, Facebook Groups, WhatsApp), and skilled at creating engaging community experiences.
Event planning expertise, able to coordinate and deliver both online and offline activations that inspire and connect creators.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to turn creator and content performance data into actionable insights that improve program outcomes.
Strong public speaking and facilitation skills, with experience running webinars, workshops or training sessions.
Experience working in global organisations, with the ability to balance global strategy and local execution.
Comfortable with productivity and marketing tools such as Canva, Google Suite, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Loo ... (truncated, view full listing at source)
