In this role, you will support the Credit Risk Department by ensuring data accuracy across our credit reporting systems, validating Power BI dashboard outputs against source data, and running daily and monthly credit reports. You will work closely with a small, specialized team to maintain the integrity of our credit portfolio data and expand the team's capacity for risk monitoring and reporting.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their analytics career who is highly precise, comfortable working with large data sets, and eager to grow their SQL and data validation skills in a financial services environment. How We Work As a Junior Risk Analyst, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing: Assigned workspace in Toronto, ON (3 days in-office per week) Company-issued equipment Hands-on training Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Power BI Credit Dashboard Validation Verifying Power BI Credit Report exports align with source data from Chemtrade and Phoenix databases Investigating and troubleshooting discrepancies between data sources and report outputs Assisting in building and validating additional risk reports prior to BI team build-out Daily & Monthly Credit Reporting Running daily and monthly credit reports manually in Excel and SQL ahead of formal BI automation Investigating outstanding flags or data discrepancies identified during reporting cycles Communicating and following up with applicable internal parties to resolve data issues Data Cleanup & Ad Hoc Projects Organizing and preparing data for cleanup, validation, and correction Supporting testing of new products, processes, and reporting tools as requested by the Risk Director Assisting with additional ad hoc projects across the Credit Risk team Process Documentation Creating and updating manuals, training materials, and logic documentation for projects and reports managed by the Risk Department Implementing audit requirements into documentation and processes as instructed by internal and external auditors Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience Advanced Excel skills required — including VLOOKUPs, index/match, pivot tables, and complex formula building Basic SQL knowledge — ability to write queries and pull data from raw databases Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities with exceptional attention to detail Ability to identify data discrepancies and perform cross-source validation independently Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to follow up professionally on open issues Dedicated team player who can collaborate closely with a small, high-trust team Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Benefits & Perks Medical, Dental & Vision benefits available the 1st month after hire Automatic enrollment into our 401(k) plan (subject to eligibility requirements) Virtual fitness classes offered company-wide Robust PTO offerings including major holidays, vacation, sick, personal, & volunteer time Employee discounts with major providers (i.e., wireless, gym, car rental, etc.) Philanthropic support with both local and national organizations Fun culture with company-wide contests and prizes Our Company & Purpose CORPAY is a global leader in business payments, laser focused on developing smarter ways for businesses to pay their expenses.  Since 2000, CORPAY has developed innovative digital solutions that help businesses better track, manage, and pay their expenses.
