iOS Engineer

The Engineering team builds the software powering Veriff. We're solving the online identity crisis in a scalable way, pushing innovation in a fast-paced and challenging environment. We’re looking for an iOS Engineer to help us build a reliable, secure, and high-performing SDK that works seamlessly across a wide range of devices and environments. In this role, you will contribute to developing efficient and scalable solutions that integrate smoothly with partner applications, while continuing to grow your technical expertise. You’ll help us protect honest people online by: Contributing to the development and maintenance of our iOS SDK using Swift Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and usability Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers Supporting efforts to ensure compatibility across different iOS devices and varying network conditions Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests to ensure code quality Participating in code reviews and incorporating feedback to improve your work Assisting in debugging issues and resolving performance bottlenecks Staying up to date with iOS development best practices and tools Contributing to improvements in development workflows, testing, and release processes You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have: Experience developing iOS applications using Swift Familiarity with iOS frameworks (e.g. UIKit, Cocoa Touch) Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into mobile applications Experience writing tests (unit or integration) and debugging issues Basic understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and grow You’re an especially awesome match if you have: Exposure to SDK development Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools or automation (e.g. Fastlane) Experience working with performance optimisation across devices Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design principles Exposure to other platforms (Android or cross-platform frameworks) Why Veriff?
