ABOUT THE TEAM The FinEng team is dedicated to building and optimizing Airwallex financial systems and processes through innovative technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration and support for our global corporate financial operations. We work closely with Finance, Operations, and Corporate IT across the business to support the systems that run our business. WHAT YOU’LL DO We are seeking a Finance Systems Technical Program Manager to manage the implementation and optimization of our finance systems. Responsible for prioritizing and project managing all IT finance-related systems projects, this role will be critical in ensuring that our finance systems are robust, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. This role is based in Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Project Management: Develop and prioritize project plans, establish clear accountability for project tasks, monitor project timelines and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving requirements - System Implementation and Optimization: Oversee the implementation of new finance systems, enhancements to existing systems, and system integration, ensuring they meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business goals. - Technical Leadership: Provide technical suggestions and expertise in finance systems architecture, integration, and data management. - Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes. - Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring they deliver quality solutions and services. - Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, user experience, and process efficiency. - Reporting and Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and post-implementation reviews.
