About the team The SME & Growth team is the growth engine behind Airwallex’s scale. We turn inbound demand into commercial outcomes by running a strategic sales process that closes deals and turns SMEs into customers fast. We work with businesses of all sizes to understand their finance and payment needs and connect them with the infrastructure that helps them compete globally. Every deal closed directly fuels our growth and the impact we have on SMEs. This team plays a critical role in fuelling Airwallex’s growth by turning curiosity into conversion and building repeatable systems that deliver real impact. What you’ll do We are looking for a high-performing closer to join our SME & Growth team as a Senior Inbound Sales Representative. This role is focused on identifying real opportunities, running a disciplined sales process and closing deals. You will own the full inbound sales cycle, from qualification and discovery through to proposal, negotiation and close. You will work primarily with businesses that have 20 or more employees and are scaling operations across markets. These customers typically have more complex payment flows, multi-currency needs and higher volumes, which require a consultative, commercially driven sales approach. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in payments or fintech sales, who knows how to spot commercial opportunities quickly, operates with urgency and is motivated by turning inbound demand into revenue in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
