The role: Airwallex’s global Regulatory Legal & Compliance Team works cross-functionally and across multiple jurisdictions to develop and execute regulatory strategies that facilitate the launch into new markets and sustainably scale up Airwallex’s operations worldwide by applying for new regulatory licenses as we expand in products suits and geographic regions, in addition to putting in place robust regulatory compliance measures for implementing and maintaining the existing licenses. As the Regulatory Compliance Manager, China, you will be based either in Shanghai, Guangzhou or Beijing and primarily focused on managing Airwallex’s non-bank payment institution licenses in mainland China. Your role will have a strong focus on advising Airwallex on complex regulatory issues in mainland China and liaising with PRC regulators such as PBOC and SAFE. You will also be responsible for ensuring we are compliant with our licensing and regulatory requirements by preparing and implementing appropriate internal procedures, measures and controls. As the Regulatory Compliance Manager, China, you will be a valuable member of the global legal and compliance team.
