What you’ll do We are looking for a dynamic Senior Manager, Financial Partnerships, LPMs, to expand and strengthen Airwallex’s global partner ecosystem. In this role, you will drive the development of our Local Payment Methods (LPMs) infrastructure across EMEA, the US, and LATAM, while managing key strategic relationships with financial institutions and payment partners. The ideal candidate is a proactive, creative problem-solver with deep experience in payments, financial services, and partnership management. You will have a proven track record working for an LPM or within a Payment Institution or PSP, building global financial partnerships, and driving strategy in fast-paced, high-growth environments. A strong understanding of LPMs, stakeholder management, and operational excellence is essential. Responsibilities: - Define and lead the LPM partnership strategy for EMEA and the Americas to support Airwallex’s global growth. - Own and grow our most strategic partner relationships—serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring strong collaboration and commercial success. - Conduct market and competitive analysis to ensure Airwallex maintains a leadership position in global payments. - Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners, including local payment methods, schemes, BNPL providers, digital wallets, and local bank transfer solutions as we expand into new markets. - Manage and optimise existing partnerships, identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and unlock new value. - Establish yourself as an industry thought leader, representing Airwallex in partner meetings, industry events, and forums.
