THE OPPORTUNITY The Onboarding team plays a pivotal role in Airwallex's mission by facilitating the rapid integration of businesses into our platform. As a data-driven team, we utilize extensive analytics to refine our processes and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. Our primary mission involves building the orchestration for Know Your Customer (KYC), Request for Information (RFI), and risk-based operations to maintain the highest standards of compliance as we handle sensitive financial data. We empower business customers through robust, secure, and intuitive user and account management solutions. This team is instrumental in our regional expansion, helping to onboard a growing number of customers into new and existing markets. By supporting global expansion, we are also tasked with increasing the coverage of our product offerings, ensuring that businesses worldwide can benefit from our innovative financial solutions. WHAT YOU’LL DO Talent Strategy & People Growth - Lead the talent strategy for your organization. Recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier engineers and managers, building a diverse team and robust succession plans for sustained velocity. - Build and scale a high-performing engineering organization (including managers and senior ICs): set goals, establish career paths, run performance and compensation processes, and cultivate a culture of ownership, inclusion, and excellence. - Set goals and development targets for the engineers within the team and support the team with feedback and development plans as they progress. - Manage, coach, and grow a team of engineers through regular feedback, performance management, and career development. - Support hiring and onboarding to scale the team sustainably.
