Well… you might just be in the right place!</span></p> <p>Lightspeed is looking for a Talent &amp; Capability Business Partner. In this role, you will act as a consultant and partner to our Lightspeed leaders and People Business Partners (PBPs), operating with a high degree of autonomy and judgment.Your responsibilities will focus on delivering high-impact, measurable capability-building programs for leadership audiences. You will facilitate leadership development programming to Lightspeed Leaders, use your HR expertise to partner with leaders and PBPs to identify performance gaps, design and deliver tailored leadership and capability solutions, and measure their effectiveness to drive concrete business results, and you’ll provide tailored enablement and guidance to PBPs and leaders on Talent &amp; Capability initiatives, eg, Talent Cycles, Engagement Survey Action Planning.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Consulting &amp; Partnership:</strong> Develop trusted advisor relationships with PBPs and leadership to thoroughly understand functional business priorities, assess related talent development needs, and provide appropriate, creative solutions to support both leaders and PBPs in participating in T&amp;C initiatives. </li> <li><strong>Program Ownership &amp; Design:</strong> Own, create, and execute strategic learning and enablement plans based on business needs, designing and developing bespoke learning experiences where generic solutions are not effective, and adapting enablement and communication plans where necessary. </li> <li><strong>Leadership Development:</strong> Own the end-to-end programming for our senior leaders. This specifically includes designing and facilitating high-stakes learning offerings like quarterly topic-based workshops, coaching, or training aimed at our Directors/Senior Directors and our Senior Leadership Team.</li> <li><strong>Stakeholder Influence:</strong> Use your expertise to influence and advise key stakeholders and partners to inform strategic decision-making related to talent and capability priorities.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Collaborate effectively with PBPs, leaders in your region, and across the People &amp; Culture organization (e.g,Total Rewards, TSI, People Ops) to ensure integrated talent solutions and operational effectiveness.</li> <li><strong>Data-Driven Strategy:</strong> Gather and analyze data to develop strategic solutions to close capability gaps, contribute to long-term program strategy development, and establish clear goals and metrics to measure performance and impact. </li> <li><strong>Vendor Management:</strong> Manage vendor contracts and relationships for any external partners brought in to support your programming, ensuring quality, value, and budget adherence.</li> <li><strong>Communication &amp; Marketing:</strong> Create and execute effective communication plans to market and socialize talent development solutions, driving adoption and commitment to long-term strategic initiatives.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you need to bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience acting as a Business Partner or Consultant to leaders in a fast-paced, complex business environment, preferably in technology.</li> <li>In-depth, practical knowledge of adult learning principles, and a variety of leadership development approaches. </li> <li>Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and facilitating programs for executive and senior management audiences.</li> <li>Experience in managing project timelines and working with vendors or external subject matter experts.</li> <li>As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.</li> </ul> <p>We know that peo ...
