<h2>About the opportunity</h2> <p>Contentful is seeking a <strong>Senior Business intelligence Analyst</strong> to join our growing Field organization. In this highly visible and impactful role, you will serve as the <strong>analytics thought leader for our Field Organization</strong>, transforming data into actionable insight that drives growth, improves efficiency, and enables strategic decision-making.</p> <p>You’ll work closely with field leadership, revenue operations, marketing, product and finance to uncover opportunities that accelerate pipeline generation, improve conversion rates, and optimize field performance. As a key business partner, you’ll help shape go-to-market strategy through data-informed recommendations and forward-looking analysis.</p> <p>This role sits within the Field organization but partners closely with our <strong>central Data team</strong> - leveraging Contentful’s Insight360 platform to ensure the field organization has trusted, timely, and actionable data. You’ll interrogate data, experiment, build dashboards and models, and guide leadership with fact-based storytelling that drives meaningful business outcomes.</p> <p>If you’re a hands-on analytics expert with a passion for solving commercial challenges through data, this is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the growth and success of Contentful.</p> <h2>What to expect?</h2> <ul> <li>Partner with Field leadership to <strong>define, measure, and monitor key performance metrics</strong> across pipeline health, bookings, productivity, and retention.</li> <li>Deliver <strong>high-quality insights and analysis</strong> that guide tactical and strategic decisions, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term growth initiatives.</li> <li><strong>Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and models</strong> that provide real-time visibility into field performance using Contentful’s Insight360 platform and modern BI tools.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate with the central Data team</strong> to ensure data integrity, develop new data capabilities, and define requirements for future enhancements to the data platform.</li> <li>Act as <strong>Data Steward</strong> for the Field organisation to help drive data capture improvements, define key metrics and attributes as well as ensure strong data hygiene for field owned data.</li> <li>Conduct <strong>deep-dive analyses</strong> on key topics such as funnel conversion, territory design, forecasting accuracy, and field capacity planning.</li> <li>Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Finance to create a <strong>holistic view of the customer lifecycle</strong>, connecting data across the revenue funnel.</li> <li>Translate complex data into <strong>clear, compelling narratives and visualizations</strong> for field leaders and executives.</li> <li>Act as a <strong>trusted advisor to field leadership</strong>, driving data-informed strategy, identifying improvement opportunities, and recommending operational efficiencies.</li> <li>Foster a <strong>culture of data-driven decision-making</strong> within the Field organization by promoting data fluency and self-service analytics.</li> </ul> <h2>What do you need to be successful?</h2> <ul> <li>Field leadership makes faster, more confident decisions using trusted, actionable insights.</li> <li>Insight360 and supporting dashboards become <strong>the single source of truth</strong> for Field performance and forecasting.</li> <li>The Field organization proactively uses data to <strong>identify growth opportunities, optimiz ...
