About the role This is a build + lead role with real influence. As a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer , you’ll own BizzyCar’s data foundation and help shape how data drives decisions across the company. You’ll lead execution across data initiatives, manage and mentor a growing data team, and ensure our analytics, pipelines, and insights scale with the business. This role is ideal for someone who loves being hands-on technically, enjoys leading people, and wants their work to directly influence product strategy, customer experience, and company direction. What you'll do Own delivery and execution Lead delivery across data initiatives, ensuring roadmaps are executed on time, at high quality, and aligned to business goals Lead and grow the data organization Manage and mentor data analysts and data engineers Set technical direction and raise the bar for analytics, data modeling, and insights Turn data into decisions Drive advanced analysis using Python and SQL to uncover trends and influence product, customer experience, and strategy Build and scale data infrastructure Own data pipelines and analytics architecture using dbt and Amazon Redshift Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability as the company grows Ensure data trust and quality Define and enforce data quality, validation, and governance standards Build confidence in analytics and reporting across the organization Partner cross-functionally Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Support, and Engineering to align data efforts with real business needs Set culture and best practices Promote modern data engineering practices Foster a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and innovation What We're Looking For A proven people leader Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling technical teams in fast-paced environments Strong hands-on technical foundation Deep expertise in: Python (data analysis, automation) SQL (complex queries, optimization) dbt (data modeling and transformations) Amazon Redshift (analytics and warehousing) Data platform mindset Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and scalable system design Execution-focused Comfortable leading initiatives using agile methodologies Able to balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability High-impact problem solver Confident navigating ambiguity and driving complex technical and organizational challenges to resolution Clear communicator Able to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders Why You’ll Love This Role You’ll own BizzyCar’s data foundation and see the impact of your work across the company You’ll lead a growing team and help shape how data is used at scale You’ll have real influence on product, strategy, and decision-making You’ll work on meaningful problems that directly affect customers and revenue Benefit ...
