About the Role We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Developer experienced in developing backend services using cloud native technologies. As a member of this team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services. You will work closely with the product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions that power our cutting-edge products that run in the cloud and the edge. Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Go (Golang). · Build and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, DevOps) to define, design, and ship new features. · Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high availability and responsiveness. · Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality. · Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems. · Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploy applications in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). · Maintain code documentation and architecture design records. · Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers. Qualifications: · 3-5+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Golang. · Solid understanding of Go’s paradigms, idioms, and best practices. · Experience with RESTful APIs and/or gRPC for building services. · Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). · Strong knowledge of concurrency in Go, and an understanding of Go routines and channels. · Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and working in distributed cloud-native environments. · Proficiency in version control systems (Git). · Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. · Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and performance tuning.
