Learn more about us here ! Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Inventory Technician with strong technical aptitude and experience in device configuration and scripting. This role is responsible for managing shipping/receiving operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing technical configuration of hardware prior to deployment. The ideal candidate combines logistics experience with hands-on technical skills in scripting and system configuration. This role is Full-Time, onsite 5 days a week at our Mesa, Arizona location. Key Responsibilities: Shipping & Receiving Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently Inspect received equipment for accuracy and damage Prepare, package, and ship hardware according to company standards Coordinate with vendors and carriers for timely deliveries Maintain shipping documentation and tracking records Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory counts and asset tracking records Perform routine cycle counts and full inventory audits Update inventory systems with serialized equipment and asset details Organize and maintain warehouse and staging areas Monitor inventory levels and report restocking needs Technical Configuration & Scripting Configure network and endpoint devices prior to shipment (routers, switches, firewalls, PCs, etc.) Deploy standard configuration templates and firmware updates Develop, modify, and execute configuration scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, or vendor CLI scripting) Validate configurations through testing and quality assurance checks Troubleshoot basic hardware and configuration issues Maintain documentation for configuration standards and processes Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in shipping, inventory, or warehouse operations Experience with hardware staging and device configuration Working knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar) Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, routing concepts) Experience with asset management or inventory tracking systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications Experience configuring network equipment (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, etc.) Familiarity with automation tools or configuration management systems CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification Experience in an MSP or IT deployment environment Why you'll love life at Command|Link Join us at CommandLink, where you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of business communication.
