You will be working with a diverse team of full-stack developers, cloud engineers, and subject matter experts to design and build the NCATS Notebooks Hub , a cloud-native solution for managing and enabling data analysis and data exploration through interactive developer environments (IDEs) and custom-built dashboarding and visualization applications. Our pipeline utilizes modern containerization and container orchestration tools in a cloud-based platform. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or other related field (years of work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) 3+ years of experience working with TypeScript/JavaScript 3+ years of experience as a full-stack developer Preferred Experience Node.js Angular 19+ NoSQL databases (MongoDB) Containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks Experience leveraging GenAI technologies (e.g., CursorAI, Cline, Windsurf) Relevant Skills Critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail Clear and concise communication Technical writing ability Experience working in an Agile environment Strong attention to detail when building visually appealing and intuitive UIs Responsibilities Build scalable, reliable, and flexible applications in TypeScript using Node.js and Angular 19+ Design, implement, and/or consume RESTful web services Implement modern, responsive UI for web and a variety of devices Participate in agile software development, including prototyping, testing, and code reviews within a small team Write robust unit and end-to-end tests Disclaimer: The above description is meant to illustrate the general nature of work and level of effort being performed by individuals assigned to this position or job description.
