Research & Insights Manager - Platform and Membership Department: Marketing Team: Marketing Location: New York, United States **About the Role** The Research & Insights Manager, Platform and Membership, will lead primary research to advise Uber’s product development, policy, and marketing strategy as it relates to Uber’s cross-line of business efforts and Membership program. This role will need to understand the needs of the business, executive leaders, and cross-functional team members to craft, implement, and deliver high-impact primary research, both quantitative and qualitative. This person will also act as the voice of the consumer in synthesizing this research with other data sources to influence insight-driven decisions. **What You'll Do** - Lead and execute market research for Membership and Platform initiatives, collaborating with a diverse set of cross-functional teams. - Collaborate with the research & insights team, as well as with UX research, data science, and policy research teams to conduct research studies and connect insights across the organization. - Lead all aspects of vendor management to conduct both qualitative and quantitative primary research studies as well explore secondary data sources as needed. - Deliver insights and influence leadership to drive deeper understanding of key audiences and integration into strategy. - Work closely with other researchers on the team to develop and scale more efficient and effective ways of conducting research. **Basic Qualifications** - 4+ years of work experience in consumer-focused market research, marketing, or consulting - Bachelor degree in market research, statistics, economics or a related field **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience using Qualtrics, SQL, R or SPSS. - Proficiency in moderating 1:1 interviews and focus groups. - Hands-on experience at a research supplier - writing questionnaires and discussion guides, fielding research, etc. - Experience with market research in multiple countries/regions. - Excellent critical thinking, project management, and interpersonal skills. - Passion for using insights fr
