The ideal candidate will be hard working, have an attention to detail, have a strong desire to take initiative and learn and can communicate well across all levels of a corporate environment.</p> <h3>What You'll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Work on close activities, including preparation of  journal entries, reconciliations.</li> <li>Supporting and guiding business partners with the accounting and reporting implications of transactions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies</li> <li>Serve as the liaison with external auditors for annual audits, ensuring timely audit request completion.</li> <li>Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting records and reduce time to close.</li> <li>Lead accounting automation projects, focusing on scalable finance and reporting system design, implementation, and maintenance.</li> <li>Support manager with projects, research, and supplemental reporting needs.</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li>Preferred Qualifications and Experience</li> <li>BA/BBA/BS Degree from 4 year university</li> <li>CPA Certification</li> <li>2+ years experience, with financial statement audit experience preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of financial systems (i.e.Netsuite, Banking, Navan, ZIP, etc)</li> <li>Ability to focus, complete tasks accurately and thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work autonomously</li> <li>Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week</li> </ul> <h3><strong>US Employee Benefits</strong></h3> <p>Verkada is committed to fostering a workplace environment that prioritizes the holistic health and wellbeing of our employees and their families by offering comprehensive wellness perks, benefits, and resources.
