We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Design high voltage battery pack components from start to finish across multiple aircraft programs in both commercial and defense applications</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with key stakeholders such as CAE engineers, quality, testing, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure success of your designs and the product</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide hands-on prototyping, build, and root cause support throughout the entire design cycle</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with integration and certification teams to ensure the product meets all FAA certification requirements</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Push the boundaries of conventional battery design to meet the stringent design requirements of aerospace applications</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you need: </strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">3+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in high voltage battery design for automotive or aerospace</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong engineering fundamentals (structural design, materials, statics, dynamics, heat transfer, fluids, etc)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Solid background in CAD (NX experience preferred), tolerance stack analysis, and 2D drafting with GD&T </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience developing parts with various manufacturing processes in both prototype and mass production settings</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to use simplified tools, calculations, and CAE to quickly drive development</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hands on prototype and build experience</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Exceptional communication skills across all mediu ...
