While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
Develop new as well as maintain existing client relationships - across crypto native hedge funds and prosumers
Coordinate strategy and analysis for the segment and proactively drive market share identifying opportunities within the region
Channel client feedback to improve our franchise in terms of pricing and product development
Meet face-to-face with existing and prospective clients, as well as hosting, organizing and attending client events and conferences
Help the Institutional business scale by collaborating with team members to build and optimize processes for sales, support and CRM
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
7+ years relevant experience, preferably in a crypto trading or custody environment, and/or a traditional institutional banking, asset management, exchange or brokerage environment
Demonstrable knowledge of and existing relationships with a number of focus clients in hedge fund segment with a strong understanding of prime-brokerage services
Comfort dealing with numbers including the ability to do data analysis of large data sets or analyzing models
Ability to independently source and close high profile clients with an impressive sales track record
Strong strategic thinking, articulate client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to distill complex information into an easily digestible form
Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality

Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below. Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility and benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):
$253,895
$298,700 USD
