Bringing to bear a mixture of data analysis, dashboarding, and SQL query skills, you will use data-driven methods to answer business questions, and deliver insights that deepen understanding of our viewer behavior and monetization performance. Reporting to the VP of Finance, Analytics, and Business Operations, your team will be located in San Francisco.</p> <p>Our team is based in San Francisco, CA.</p> <h3><strong>You Will:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Create actionable insights from data related to Twitch viewers, creators, advertising revenue, commerce revenue, and content deals.</li> <li>Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate points of view that inform business decision-making.</li> <li>Create and maintain complex queries and data pipelines for ad-hoc analyses.</li> <li>Author narratives and documentation that support conclusions.</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with business partners, product managers, and data team members to align data science efforts with strategic goals.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>You Have:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of data science experience with a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science).</li> <li>Expertise in using SQL for data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding.</li> <li>Expertise with visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight.</li> <li>Experience with a scripting language such as Python or R.</li> <li>Comfort with data warehouses and big data technologies at consumer scale such as Redshift, Snowflake, Big Query, etc.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Bonus Points</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Master’s or Doctorate degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science)</li> <li>Experience in gaming or digital media</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Perks</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision &amp; Disability Insurance</li> <li>401(k)</li> <li>Maternity &amp; Parental Leave</li> <li>Flexible PTO</li> <li>Amazon Employee Discount</li> </ul> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.</em>&nbsp;</p> <p>Job ID: TW9095</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The base salary range for this position is listed ...
