As one of the very first Field Sales Account Executives at Lightspeed in Lyon, you’ll have a unique opportunity to help lay the foundations of our field sales presence in the region. Working closely with our Field Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in building a high-performing and ambitious team.<br>You’ll be at the heart of our local sales strategy out in the field across Lyon and its surroundings driving the entire sales cycle from prospecting and demos all the way to closing deals.</p> <p>Lightspeed’s Hospitality team is now in hyper-growth mode. Our process has been refined and optimised at a smaller scale in the last few years, now is the time to expand our team and our reach.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>*** Please note this role is based in Lyon, France. ***</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Converting prospects into successful customers through customer sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling and presentations - all in person</li> <li>Carrying out the whole sales cycle which includes identifying and developing leads, meeting with your clients, creating value propositions, structuring financial deals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals</li> <li>Visiting customers on a regular basis to identify their business challenges &amp; pain points</li> <li>Successfully running in person demonstrations of the retail product</li> <li>Analyzing, reporting and taking action on pipeline metrics</li> <li>Driving performance to consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals</li> <li>Create new business through network events&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll be bringing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant sales experience in a Field and outbound environment, preferably in a solution-sales / technology-related</li> <li>Strong understanding of sales development best practices</li> <li>Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently</li> <li>Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal and written communication</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets</li> <li>A love of numbers: you recognize a quantitative approach to making decisions</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic and quota-driven environment</li> <li>Fluency in French and English</li> <li>An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a bias toward action and an ability to pivot when needed to meet business needs and objectives</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Experience in hospitality&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>We know that people are more than what’s on their CV.
