Strategic Operations Manager, Marketplace Department: Operations Team: Operations Location: Toronto, Canada Type: Full-Time **About the Role** Uber Eats is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager to drive the reliability and health of our Canadian Grocery and Retail marketplace. This role is part of the Canada GR Local Marketplace team, where you will manage the strategy and implementation of courier enablement and supply availability. Your mission is to ensure customers receive orders in a timely manner while supporting earners in navigating new grocery opportunities. This operations role calls for a combination of creative problem-solving, operational optimization, data analytics, and project management. You should be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, enjoy solving problems and thrive in a startup environment. You will work cross-functionally with Local Operations teams, Product, and Finance to help grow Uber Canada Grocery and Retail business. **What You’ll Do** - Marketplace Health and Courier Incentives Ownership: Lead the Grocery & Retail marketplace health and courier incentives workstreams end-to-end, including strategy, deployment, optimization, and measurement - Data-Driven Insights: Analyze complex datasets to drive key business decisions and aggregate insights that inform incentive structures and marketplace reliability strategies - Strategic Advisory: Advise senior leadership on long-term strategy by defining critical metrics, developing dashboards, and providing strategic insights - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Regional Operations, Data Science, Partner Management, Finance and Customer Support to ensure marketplace health insights inform broader critical initiatives - Product Partnership: Work with Product teams to guide the development of solutions based on business and customer needs, overseeing the roll-out of new features in Canada - KPI Management: Set and measure key performance indicators for all marketplace health initiatives and incentive campaigns you oversee **Basic Qualifications** - 3+ years of professional experie
