This team is responsible for the platforms and systems that power everything from large-scale model training to real-time deployment, and you will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and mapping the technical talent that makes that possible.In this role, you will partner closely with Senior Technical Recruiters and senior engineering leaders across compute, ML infrastructure, systems, security, and platform teams. You will develop deep knowledge of highly specialized talent markets, build long-term pipelines, and ensure we are consistently engaging the best technical candidates in the world.You will work closely with recruiters, coordinators, and cross-functional partners to drive top-of-funnel strategy for roles that directly influence OpenAI’s ability to train and serve frontier models at global scale.Your ResponsibilitiesOwn top-of-funnel strategy and execution for high-impact roles supporting large-scale model training, real-time AI systems, and the infrastructure that powers themPartner with recruiters and engineering leaders to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategiesDesign and execute targeted sourcing plans for niche and highly competitive technical talent marketsBuild and maintain deep talent maps, target lists, and market intelligence for priority hiring areasEngage and nurture passive candidates through thoughtful, high-quality outreach and long-term relationship buildingTrack and analyze sourcing performance, pipeline health, and conversion rates to continuously improve effectivenessSupport recruiters by providing insights, pipeline coverage, and candidate engagement throughout the hiring procesContribute to brand-forward sourcing efforts that position OpenAI as the destination for world-class infrastructure and systems talentWe’re Seeking6+ years of technical sourcing experience in high-growth, premier technology environmentsProven success sourcing for highly specialized and competitive technical rolesStrong research, mapping, and market intelligence skillsExcellent written communication and candidate engagement abilitiesThe ability to partner effectively with recruiters and senior engineering stakeholdersComfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environmentWorkplace & LocationThis role is based in our San Francisco or Seattle office. We are not considering remote applications for this role.
