Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences– all created by our global community of developers and creators.
At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device.

A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.
Roblox is seeking a Principal Asset Management Engineer to define and scale our global asset management system, and process.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, security, and finance, and is responsible for shaping how assets are managed across their full lifecycle—from procurement and provisioning to tracking, utilization, and decommissioning.
As a principal individual contributor, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, driving both strategy and execution. You will design systems, automations, and workflows that ensure asset data is accurate, auditable, and seamlessly integrated across platforms such as MDM, identity, and asset management systems.
In addition to building the platform, you will ensure it operates effectively in practice—partnering closely with Corporate Engineering and cross-functional partners to establish clear standards, reduce operational friction, and enable consistent execution at scale.
You Will:
Establish and scale a unified ITAM platform for Roblox, serving as a single source of truth and supporting end-to-end lifecycle management from procurement through decommissioning
Define and drive the ITAM strategy, including systems, policies, and processes that scale with the business
Partner with Corporate Engineering, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to define priorities and drive the ITAM roadmap, aligning with company and technology goals
Build and drive automation across the asset ecosystem, integrating platforms such as Jira Assets, Jamf, Workspace ONE, Okta, and Google Workspace to maintain accurate, timely asset data with minimal manual intervention
Maintain accurate asset inventory through scalable systems and processes that track asset status, ownership, location, and utilization
Enable effective asset management at scale by equipping Client Services and cross-functional teams with clear processes, documentation, and training
Establish and enforce policies, standards, and controls that meet security, compliance, and audit requirements, while balancing governance with employee experience
Leverage systems and data to improve asset visibility, reporting, and decision-making, driving insights that reduce risk, optimize costs, and support continuous improvement
You Have:
7+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Endpoint Engineering, or related fields
Proven experience designing and scaling asset management systems or platforms in complex, enterprise environments
Experience balancing systems design with operational ownership, ensuring processes are both well-designed and consistently executed
Strong experience with:
ITAM/CMDB platforms (e.g., Jira Assets, ServiceNow, Teqtivity, or similar)
Identity systems (e.g., Okta, Entra ID)
MDM tools (e.g., Jamf, Workspace ONE, Intune)
Workflow automation and system integrations (APIs, scripting, data pipelines)
Deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, including procurement, inventory tracking, compliance, and decommissioning
Experience building automated, system-driven processes that reduce reliance on manual work
Strong knowledge of security and compliance frameworks related to asset management (e.g., ... (truncated, view full listing at source)
