This is an exceptional opportunity to become a part of Coupang’s growth in Taiwan and create a world where our customers wonder, “How did I ever live without Coupang?” Role Overview As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing core accounting processes, supporting settlements, and driving operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment where your contributions directly impact the company’s financial health and efficiency. What You Will Do Accounting Operations Perform daily accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting records and settlements. Maintain general ledger integrity and support month-end and quarter-end closing processes. Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Process System Support Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper coding of transactions. Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Work with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to ensure accurate data entry and reporting. Reporting Analysis Prepare standard financial reports and schedules for management review. Support variance analysis and provide explanations for operational results. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed. Compliance Controls Ensure adherence to internal policies and accounting standards in day-to-day operations. Participate in internal control testing and documentation for operational processes. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred . 3–7 years of experience in accounting operations or general ledger management. US SOX Controls experience is a plus. Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes. Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
