Position Title: Manager, Global Security Operations Center – Taiwan
Position Summary Coupang is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented manager to support the operations of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in Taiwan. This role is critical to ensuring the safety of Coupang employees and the continuity of business operations through real-time monitoring, incident response, and risk mitigation. The manager will work closely with the Senior Manager, GSOC Taiwan, to execute daily operations, support crisis response, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the GSOC.

What you will do - Assist the Senior Manager in overseeing daily GSOC operations, ensuring alignment with Coupang’s global physical security standards. - Conduct real-time monitoring of security systems and platforms to detect and respond to potential threats. - Support incident response activities, including documentation, escalation, and coordination with internal stakeholders. - Contribute to the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for threat detection and crisis management. - Monitor local and regional risk factors including geopolitical, environmental, and operational developments. - Prepare reports and dashboards on security incidents, trends, and operational metrics. - Participate in training sessions and exercises to enhance GSOC readiness and capabilities. - Liaise with internal teams such as HR, Legal, Facilities, and Business Continuity to support integrated risk management. - Maintain effective communication with external partners including law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Education Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, International Relations, Emergency Management, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field. - Completion of specialized training programs in security or crisis management (e.g., ASIS, FEMA, ISMI) is a plus.
Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of experience in physical security operations, crisis management, or intelligence analysis. - Strong understanding of risk assessment, incident response, and crisis communication. - Experience working in a GSOC (Global Security Operation Center) or similar operational environment preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Fluency in Mandarin and English required. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
Preferred Skills - Familiarity with physical security technologies such as CCTV, access control systems, and threat intelligence platforms. - Certification in physical security or emergency management (e.g., CPP, CEM) is a plus. - Experience in multinational corporate environments is preferred.
