Role Overview We’re looking for an experienced Staff iOS Engineer to join our Client Platform team. In this role, you will build the foundational frameworks, architecture, and tooling and power all iOS platforms across Coupang Play – including mobile, tablet and Apple TV. You will work closely with engineering teams to define standards, improve performance, enhance reliability, and enable faster feature development. This is a high impact position that shapes the technical direction of our iOS ecosystem and accelerates innovation across the company. What You Will Do Design, build and maintain core iOS platform frameworks, libraries, and shared components used across multiple teams. Lead initiatives to improve app performance, startup time and memory usage across devices Drive architecture modernization (modularization, dependency management, scalable design patterns) Build and enhance developer productivity tools, including CI/CD improvements, build time optimization, and testing frameworks. Implement and maintain observability tooling, including logging metrics, crash alerts and real time monitoring Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth app releases Ensure app compliance with App Store policies, security requirements and industry best practices Contribute to globalization readiness, including localization support and configuration systems Conduct design reviews, code reviews and guide best practices for iOS development Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of iOS development experience using Swift and Objective-C Strong understanding of iOS internals, UIKits, SwiftUI, concurrency, networking and persistent storage Solid understanding of app performance optimization (CPU/GPU, memory, startup) Hands-on experience with App Store deployment, build pipelines, certificates/provisioning, and automated testing Familiarity with instrumentation tools, analytics and crash reporting platforms Prior experience in large-scale consumer apps Preferred Qualifications Experience with TVOS development or multi-device iOS ecosystem (MacOS, etc) Strong background in platform engineering, SDK development, or shared framework architecture Knowledge of CI/CD systems, A/B testing platforms or remote config systems Experience implementing analytics event schema, tracking governance, or logging frameworks Recruitment Process and Others Recruitment Process Application Review - 1st Virtual Interview - 2nd Virtual Interview – Offer The exact nature of the recruitment process may vary according to the specific job and may be changed d ...
