The Opportunity
๐๏ธ Build growth infrastructure, not just campaigns: You'll architect the segmentation frameworks, experimentation roadmaps, and growth operating systems that M-KOPA's Product, Operations, and Commercial teams use to drive activation, retention, and up-sell across 5 African markets. This isn't optimising existing programmes, it's building the system from scratch.
๐ผ Strategic partner to senior leadership & Product: You'll work directly with our senior leadership on strategy, product roadmap decisions, and commercial performance. Your insights will shape business strategy, not just marketing tactics.
๐ฐ Own customer lifetime value, not just campaign metrics: Your success will be measured in LTV growth, up-sell revenue, retention economics, and payback periods - not open rates or click-throughs.
๐ Transform CRM from support channel to growth engine: Design the frameworks that move customers from their first smartphone purchase (entry point) to digital loans, health insurance, and bundle services - triggered by payment behaviour.
๐ Scale what you build across emerging markets: Your frameworks will scale across Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Ghana, and South Africa. You'll design once, adapt for local context, and scale to millions - working with one of Africa's richest proprietary datasets and a unique distribution model (30,000+ field agents + 300 telesales + digital).
