The Role We're hiring a Staff Accountant to join Rilla's Finance team. As a founding finance hire, you'll own core accounting processes, drive financial close, and build the internal controls and reporting infrastructure we need to scale. This is a broad, hands-on role — you won't just maintain the books, you'll shape how we do finance as a company. What You'll Do - Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and annual close — journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules - Manage revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP, including subscription and multi-period arrangements - Oversee AP, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets - Assist with financial statements and internal management reports - Support annual audits, tax filings, and coordination with external auditors and advisors - Drive finance system implementations and workflow automation - Assist with cash flow management and forecasting - Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls - Partner with operations, finance, and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analyses - Support benefits administration as the team grows - Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and help us scale What You’ll Get The chance to work at one of the fastest-growing startups in the world and build the financial foundation that keeps us moving.
