We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to help scale our accounting function. You’ll play a critical role in our close and reporting processes, partnering closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and decision-useful financial information. This is a senior, high-impact role with real ownership. You’ll own key accounting areas, improve processes and controls, and help build a scalable, audit-ready accounting foundation in a fast-paced environment. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Own and support key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis - Manage assigned operational accounting areas (e.g., cash, accruals, payroll, capitalized commissions, fixed assets, or revenue-related balances) - Prepare financial analyses and reporting packages for Finance leadership and FP&A - Partner with FP&A to ensure alignment between accounting results, forecasts, and business drivers - Improve and automate close processes, internal controls, and reporting workflows - Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with US GAAP - Support audit and review processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries - Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting WHAT YOU BRING - 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth or dynamic environments - Experience from a technology and/or scale-up start-up environment - Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting processes - Hands-on experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting - Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable owning work end to end - Strong communicator who collaborates well across Finance and the business NICE TO HAVE - Big 4 or high-growth technology company experience - CPA or other accounting certification - Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, or similar tools - Exposure to revenue or product accounting - Interest in automation, systems, and AI-enabled workflows WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU - Competitive package: Comprehensive salary, benefits, and tools for success. - Meaningful work: Your efforts shape how thousands of lawyers use AI daily. - In-person environment: New York City, Chicago, Denver, and Houston office designed for ambitious builders. - Benefits & Perks: We invest in our people with a comprehensive, thoughtfully designed ...
