Role: Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant
Work experiance : 9 + years
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant with 9+ years of relevant experience and strong hands-on expertise in both end-to-end implementations and Application Managed Support (AMS) (AMS experience is mandatory). The ideal candidate should have deep functional knowledge across Oracle Fusion Financials and an ability to work closely with business users on complex issues, enhancements, and finance process optimization.
Experience in Oracle Service Contracts will be considered a strong added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation
Lead and deliver full-cycle Oracle Fusion Financials implementations across:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Cash Management (CM)
Expenses (EX)
Tax
Conduct requirement workshops, prepare solution design documents, configure finance modules, and support CRP, SIT, UAT, and cutover.
Work with technical teams on RICEW components, extensions, and integration touchpoints.
Support client finance teams in adopting global design, best practices, and standardized processes.
AMS / Production Support (Mandatory)
Provide L2/L3 functional support for Oracle Fusion Financial modules.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and drive permanent fixes.
Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities and subledger-to-GL reconciliations.
Work with Oracle Support (SR creation, tracking, patch analysis, RCA).
Perform regression testing during quarterly patches.
Manage CR enhancements, configurations in support cycles, and system stabilization.
Required Skills & Experience:
12+ years overall experience, with 9+ years in Oracle Fusion Financials.
Strong functional command over GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Expenses.
Mandatory experience in AMS engagements (support, RCA, triaging, stabilization).
Strong exposure to financial flows including:
SLA setup and accounting rules
Intercompany transactions
Allocations, revaluation, reconciliation
Period-close processes
Experience working with integrations (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, tax engines).
Experience with Oracle Service Contracts will be a significant added advantage.
Familiarity with OTBI, FRS, and Smart View reporting.
Ability to prepare BRDs, MD50s, test scripts, and user training material.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to navigate onsite–offshore delivery models.
Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT.
Oracle Fusion Financials certification is preferred.
