Marketing Communications Manager At Rhoda AI, we're building the full-stack foundation for the next generation of humanoid robots — from high-performance, software-defined hardware to the foundational models and video world models that control it. Our robots are designed to be generalists capable of operating in complex, real-world environments and handling scenarios unseen in training. We work at the intersection of large-scale learning, robotics, and systems, with a research team that includes researchers from Stanford, Berkeley, Harvard, and beyond. We're not building a feature; we're building a new computing platform for physical work — and with over $400M raised, we're investing aggressively in the R&D, hardware development, and manufacturing scale-up to make that a reality. We're looking for a Marketing Communications Manager / Director to lead our external and internal communications efforts as we scale. This role will shape how the world understands what we're building. What You'll Do - Develop and implement targeted social media strategies to increase engagement, enhance brand awareness, and maximize company messaging across LinkedIn, X, and YouTube - Craft compelling written and visual content for social media, press releases, product launches, and other company communications — tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences - Serve as the main point of contact for external PR and branding agencies while managing select communications functions independently - Leverage your understanding of generative AI, computer vision, and robotics to accurately and compellingly communicate the company's technical advancements - Plan, manage, and execute external marketing events including tradeshows and conferences; coordinate internal employee events to foster team engagement - Collaborate cross-functionally with technical experts, product managers, and executives to ensure messaging accuracy and strategic alignment - Track industry trends and competitor activity to continuously sharpen and evolve our communications strategy What We're Looking For - 5+ years of experience in marketing communications within the technology sector - Proven ability to strategize and execute social media campaigns, especially on LinkedIn, X, and YouTube - Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to distill complex technical information into clear, compelling messages for varied audiences - Experience working with external agencies and vendors and managing those relationships effectively - Exceptional collaborator with the ability to work closely with highly technical teams - Self-motivated with strong ownership, highly organized, and creative under ambiguity Nice to Have (But Not Required) - Background or genuine interest in generative AI, computer vision, or robotics - Experience in a startup or high-growth tech environment - Proven track record executing successful events including tradeshows and product launches - Familiarity with the humanoid robotics or embodied AI landscape Why This Role - Own the voice of one of the most technically ambitious robotics companies in the world — at a moment when the story is just beginning to be told - Work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and hardware, translating frontier research into narratives that resonate with researchers, engineers, investors, and the public - High ownership, direct collaboration with leadership, and real influence over how Rhoda shows up in the world
