What you’ll achieve Dell Technologies is seeking an experienced professional to join the Global Government Affairs team as an advocate for key business priorities in India. This person will contribute their political and governmental expertise to decision-driving discussions among internal and external stakeholders. This person will also serve as a highly visible representative of Dell’s values and principles to policymakers, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders impacting Dell’s business interests. This individual will advise and support senior level executives in the region on a host of operations, policy, and politically related matters. You will: Support Dell GA efforts in India related to Dell’s operations and supply chain presence across the country. Position Dell country leadership with government of India to advance Dell priorities. Assist Global Operations, Legal, Marketing, and other business divisions with government engagement and crisis mitigation. Interact with government officials on behalf of Dell’s priorities; represent Dell’s interests in strategically essential, policy-driven dialogues with government policymakers and regulators in key agencies and jurisdictions. Serve as the company’s representative in related industry trade associations. Regularly brief and update internal stakeholders and external audiences. Working with other functions, develop and execute strategies designed to enhance Dell’s reputation and thought leadership. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 12 years of experience in international government relations or related field Established network with policymakers and/or regulators within the Government of India and industry and familiarity with Indian government policies and processes Strong writing and communications skills, targeting external and internal stakeholders Outgoing, collaborative, and problem-solving personality Proven ability to work, lead and collaborate with other internal teams (ex.
