Business Operations In this role, you will: - Work directly with the founders on critical financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management - Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and fundraising - Develop and streamline internal processes across billing, vendor management, and procurement - Partner with founders to define and track key business metrics and OKRs - Lead cross-functional projects that improve operational efficiency as the company scales - Support strategic initiatives including pricing analysis, market sizing, and competitive intelligence To be successful at this role, you have - 2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate finance - 1+ years of experience operating at a fast-paced, high-growth startup - Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency) - Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action — you build the plane while flying it - Excellent communication skills and the ability to distill complex analyses into clear recommendations - A systems-thinking mindset — you don't just solve problems, you build processes that prevent them Bonus - Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, LTV/CAC, net revenue retention) - Prior exposure to fundraising or investor relations What We Offer - Competitive Bay Area salary + meaningful equity - Full health, dental, and vision - 401(k) with match - Paid relocation If you're interested, please email me as well as applying at max@gumloop.com
