The Opportunity:
The Performance Marketing Analyst role is an opportunity to bring clarity and structure to Sequoia’s marketing performance at a pivotal moment. As marketing investment scales across channels, campaigns, and business lines, this role helps leadership understand what’s driving results, from spend and engagement through pipeline impact and ROI. Sitting at the center of campaign, channel, and funnel analytics, you’ll translate complex data into clear insights that guide GTM decisions, standardize how success is measured, and influence where the company invests next. It’s a high‑impact role for someone who enjoys turning data into direction and improving how marketing performance is understood across the organization.
What You Get to Do:
- Conduct market and competitive research to support Sequoia’s GTM strategy and SAM (Sequoia Addressable Market) analysis.
- Analyze dashboards and reports from Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other tools—focusing on interpretation rather than building new dashboards.
- Evaluate performance across the full marketing funnel, including lead volume, velocity, and conversion across every stage.
- Assess what happens after a lead is created, identifying leakage, bottlenecks, and acceleration opportunities.
- Communicate clearly and consistently what’s working and what’s not across campaigns, channels, programs, and BA (Business Advisor) follow‑up.
- Analyze ROI of marketing programs, identify touch patterns that correlate with closed‑won outcomes, and highlight where marketing-sourced leads get stuck in pipeline.
- Partner cross‑functionally with demand generation, BA leadership, marketing technology, and product marketing to align funnel insights with GTM strategy.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Economics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, demand generation analytics, or similar data‑driven roles.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret dashboards and performance reports across Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, and analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing marketing funnels, performance trends, attribution patterns, and pipeline dynamics.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to cross‑functional partners, including leadership.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect data trends to actionable recommendations.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adaptive to fast‑paced environments.
- English Proficiency.
The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have:
- Experience working in a B2B demand generation or professional services environment, ideally with complex multi‑stage funnels.
- Familiarity with attribution modeling (single‑touch, multi‑touch, or weighted), and comfort discussing how different touch patterns influence pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- A strong understanding of BDR/BA performance metrics and the ability to analyze outreach effectiveness, follow‑up quality, and handoff dynamics.
- Working knowledge of ABM strategies and how top‑of‑funnel engagement translates into mid‑ and late‑stage pipeline progression.
- Experience interpreting data from tools such as 6sense, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (even if not building dashboards d ... (truncated, view full listing at source)
