Role Overview As a staff engineer, you will be driving initiatives with broad business and technical impact. This role is not tied to a single area - staff engineers at Maxima help solve our most important and complex problems. Notable challenges include: - Scaling our platform to support large and growing enterprise workloads - Architecting a durable and scalable financial data processing layer - Building the infrastructure that powers our agentic systems - Solving intricate accounting workflows through clean and robust abstractions You’ll own major product and engineering areas + get to work closely with customers. Beyond technical excellence, we value engineers who are curious and take initiative.
