About the role As a transducer design engineer at Nudge, you will: - Design materials and fabrication methods for in-house ultrasound array fabrication - Design high efficiency elements for transmission through the skull and high bandwidth elements for ultrasound imaging and cavitation detection - Develop methods for measurement of electrical, acoustic, and thermal properties of the elements - Work closely with electrical, mechanical, software, and ultrasound engineers About you We are looking for engineers of all levels, with a preference for 3+ years of industry experience. Regardless of your career level, you should have: - Strong engineering / physics first principles - Experience with multiphysics acoustoelectric modeling - Strong fundamentals in materials science with respect to piezoelectrics - Strong electrical engineering fundamentals - Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline - Demonstrated history of exceptional technical contribution - High integrity and strong professional judgement
